Vermont Customizations

Pika went live on June 12th, 2006 for LSLL and VLA.
Here are a list of many of the customizations we are using.
- Vermont_Validation - a somewhat comprehensive approach to javascript validation of fields
- Validating_TextArea - a more in-depth treatment of the special problems involved in validating a TextArea field
- Javascript_limit_select_box - Experimental javascript approach to narrow one select box's options based on what was chosen in another one. For instance, show only special problem codes that match the chosen problem code.
- Matters Modules - a big customization to treat Matters more like Cases. Hopefully going to be merged into mainstream Pika.
- Vt_timeslip_4_submit_buttons - adding a new, 4th save button to the Time Slip screen.
- Wrote an improvement to the javascript pika_phone function.
- After seeing a button for "Save, Next Tab" over at the ABLE customizations, I asked Dave K. how to do this.
- We wanted our intake to flow from editing the contact details to the Conflict tab of the case screen instead of the Eligibility tab. Aaron made a change beginning in Pika version 3.05 that let's you do this.
- Customizations to the menu for Income Frequency and the Calculate button on the Eligibility tab
- Customizations to Popup Timer
- Calculating the Client's Age if you didn't get the DOB right away
- Some ideas on Calendar navigation improvements. (2006/4/13). Lobbying for inclusion of this into default Pika. Ticket 1433.
- Another tip of the hat to Dave K. for this handy fix to fill in zip code and county on the case info tab of a case. (2006/4/13)
