Using Reports
From PikaDocs
To generate reports for your organization, begin by clicking the “Reports” link on the left side of the Pika welcome screen. Although the reports available to you will vary by organization, here is an overview of some of the most commonly-used reports in Pika:
Daily Intake report - Generating this report provides a list of all intakes processed during a specific day. To use the report, click the “Daily Intake report” link from the “Reports” screen. On the screen that follows, select the appropriate office (if applicable to your organization), enter the date for which you would like to review intakes (in MM/DD/YY format), and select an output format. If you would like to view the information as an HTML document within your browser, select “HTML” from the drop-down menu. If you would like to create a PDF document of intake information, select PDF. If you choose, you may save the PDF as a separate document on your computer after it is generated.
To use the LSC Age/Race Report, select it from the “Reports” screen. In this report, you may narrow data by specifying parameters such as closing date, type of funding, office (if applicable to your organization), client status, county, and gender. You may also further narrow your results by specifying in the “Unduplicated” drop-down box if you want to view only cases that have not been duplicated within the system. As with the Daily Intake Report, you may specify either HTML or PDF output and save the document to your computer accordingly. The LSC CSR (Case Status Report) Report is used to query the status of all cases in your office’s database. You may narrow your search using closing date, funding type, county, office (if applicable), and status. As with the other reports, you may specify either HTML or PDF output and save the document to your computer accordingly.
Mega Report is used to create a report which requires multiple variables. Using this report, you can select in-depth case fields including primary attorney, any available co-counsels, office code, problem codes, referrals, client income and asset information, etc. You may also mine client information and activity codes, and all information can be filtered according to a number of parameters. For more information, see the section on Using MegaReport.
