Using Pika CMS as a Chrome Application
From PikaDocs
The Google Chrome web browser includes a feature that allows a web application, such as Pika CMS, to be accessed like a desktop application. Google has a help document (http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95710) and a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0Mgf66GOr4&eurl=http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95710&feature=player_embedded) explaining the process.
Here's what you'll see when you set up Pika CMS as a Chrome application. First, load the Pika CMS log in screen. Click on the Page icon and select "Create Application Shortcuts..." from the menu.
Check off which shortcuts you want to create, then click OK. In this example, I selected the Start Menu option.
Your web browser window will change, it's now running in Application Mode.
You'll also be able to return to Pika CMS from the Start Menu now, just like any other desktop application.
